Work-in-Progress Readings

Established in March 2026, the Sunday Salon is a place for writers to try new work and for audiences (and readers) to get a sneak peek behind the scenes.

Held on the first Sunday evening of the month in the lovely studio at Goodwood Theatre and Studios, the readings are warm and welcoming, a place to give life to new writing and ideas. Tickets cost just $5.

We have a lineup of four or five writers, reading for 15 or 20 minutes each. This extended time gives readers and audiences a chance to truly lose themselves in the story.

The lineup of writers is curated to ensure we have a good spread of prose, poetry, new and established writers.
